Join us for an intimate, 60 minute, easy guided walk around False Cape’s Vineyard, set among the rolling vines and towering Willson river gum trees. Stroll past the very vines where our grapes are grown and along the way enjoy five of our premium wines, each paired with seasonal bites designed to complement the flavours. You will discover the sustainable practices that make False Cape truly special – from dry-grown vines, solar power, mulching, recycled timbers and our role as Guardians of Kangaroo Island’s unique environment.
Keep an eye out for our vineyard companions too: free-range turkeys, sheep, alpacas and the many native birds that call our surrounding native scrub home.
Finish fireside in our rustic limestone cellar door with a favourite wine and a sweet treat – take home a complimentary False Cape tasting glass as a keepsake of your experience.
A winter dinner date Kangaroo Island style, with good friends or family, great False Cape Wines, with local produce the hero in a Degustation sensation. Three Dates available, one in June, July and August 2026 TBC. Time 6 – 10 pm.
Enjoy a delicious Food Degustation with Premium False Cape Wines at our stunning cellar door. The menu is inspired by our amazing Chefs and Kangaroo Island Produce. (It is also very vegan and gluten free friendly.)
The night will begin with Canapes and a complimentary glass of Lake Breeze Blanc de Blanc sparkling Chardonnay by the fire place. We will then move inside to be seated in the cosy Cellar Door with the wood fire blazing.
This will be a truly memorable event hosted by the owners Julie and Jamie Helyar.
Tickets include a four course degustation, a glass of sparkling wine or local beer or cider on arrival.
False Cape Wines including Museum stock will be available on the night to purchase by the glass or bottle.
